Summary:

The Resident Care Director will support the care team and Wellness Director in care delivery for Independent Living residents. The Care Director will help manage the nursing and care teams, to ensure top-tier care. Hours are 8:30a-5P, Monday to Friday. Come join a 5-star facility!

Responsibilities:

• Oversee resident care plans in all aspects, including timely medication administration, communication with the interdisciplinary care teams, and monitoring status changes.
• Support the Wellness Director in monitoring staff performance, implementing new care plans, assist in budgeting unit resources and other areas as necessary.
• Assist in training and mentoring nursing staff.
• Ensure compliance standards are met for medication management, infection control and resident rights.
• Assist the Wellness Director to ensure staffing level’s are appropriate, medical records are accurate, and services are properly documented.
• Evaluate patients medical needs and monitor clinical outcomes to enhance care when needed.

Requirements:

• Current RN license in Massachusetts, or ability to obtain before start date
• Current CPR Certification
• Management /supervisory experience preferred
• Continuing Care Retirement Community experience is a plus
