Summary:
A large continuing care retirement community is on the lookout for a Registered Nurse to join their Home Care team. Enjoy the perks of working within a gated community where all clients are residents, eliminating the need for driving or travel.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate in the initial evaluation process to assess residents’ needs and develop service plans.
• Implement individualized service plans in coordination with residents, families, physicians, and authorized practitioners.
• Communicate changes in residents’ conditions effectively.
• Ensure the implementation and adherence to individualized service plans by the Home Health and Home Support agency team.
• Provide nursing care in accordance with the established plan of care and nursing standards.
• Participate in care conferences and resident-related meetings.
• Contribute to the orientation and training of agency nurses and Aide staff.
• Work schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm/5:00pm, with one weekend per month and one week on-call from Friday to Thursday.

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse degree program
• Current Registered Nurse license for the State of Maryland
• Applicants must hold Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Experience in home care
• Current OASIS experience preferred
