Summary:

The Director of Wellness will lead the clinical care team in the senior living community. The Director oversees and collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to ensure high quality care for residents. Hours are 8:30a-5P, Monday to Friday. Come join a 5-star facility!

Responsibilities:

• Develop and strategize new policies, programs and care plans to enhance resident’s care and experience.
• Oversee health assessment and ongoing care plans for residents while ensuring proper collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
• Mentor nursing staff by training new hires, and promoting continuing education with existing staff.
• Assess residents’ needs and craft care plans to meet care goals.
• Oversee staff scheduling to ensure proper coverage.
• Ensure proper documentation and billing procedures are followed.
• Act as liaison between patients, family members and facility staff.

Requirements:

• Current RN license in Massachusetts, or ability to obtain before start date
• Current CPR Certification
• Management/supervisory experience required
• Continuing Care Retirement Community experience is a plus
• Covid and Flu Vaccinations
