Position located in Andover, MA

Responsibilities of the Sample Management Associate:

• Support and progressively lead the receipt, QC, storage, packaging, and shipment of biological samples.
• Receive, log in samples and critical reagents into FreezerWorks and/or LIMS.
• Maintain Inventory and tracking of incoming and outgoing samples.
• Support Sample submission for analysis.
• Support shipping (DOT/IATA training to be provided).
• Set up and maintain compliant satellite accumulation areas for chemical and biohazardous waste.
• Assist with organizing and archiving completed documentation and helping create and maintain an organized system for storage of physical documentation.

Requirements of the Sample Management Associate:

• Bachelor’s degree in a life sciences field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience with the packaging and shipment of temperature-sensitive biomedical specimens.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience performing protocol-defined scientific methodologies.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
