Biologics Technical Lead

Position located in Lebanon, IN
Role Purpose:
Lead automation control system solutions for the Biologics facility, collaborating with project teams, including Automation Project Manager, Area Leads, Process Engineers, and Quality Engineers.
Requirements of the Biologics Technical Lead:
- BS in Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years in pharmaceutical automation (preferably in API/Bulk Manufacturing).
- Biologics manufacturing and large pharmaceutical project expertise.
- 7+ years in DeltaV Batch DCS; Allen-Bradley PLC experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of GMPs, regulatory standards, and computer system validation.
- Exceptional teamwork, communication, and leadership skills.
Responsibilities of the Biologics Technical Lead:
- Provide technical ownership and leadership for the Biologics automation project.
- Manage system integrators and collaborate with program technical offices to align solutions.
- Oversee automation deliverables (specifications, strategies, recipes, etc.).
- Participate in P&ID reviews and software component definitions.
- Ensure compliance, resolve technical queries, and manage risks.
- Support software testing strategies, issue tracking, and process control updates.
